My primary motivation for upgrading my camera last year was to use a real camera for Zoom calls and meetings. It would be great if I could show up on Zoom with the same quality as my YouTube videos!
It was made feasible by the Canon M50 Mark II in two ways. First, it features a clean HDMI out setting that allows you to broadcast like a standard webcam with focusing enabled.
This HDMI capture card is what I’m using.
You may now link your Canon M50 Mark II to Zoom with the help of software provided by Canon. Unfortunately, because the program is still in development on the Mac, I could not use it on either of my two machines, so I’m utilizing an HDMI capture card instead.
